112-10001 Stealth Brake Bolt Kit

An easy install and works exactly as advertised. I just don't know why I didn't make this modification 25 years ago. The brakes are so much better balanced. The car is level when the brakes are applied, reduces nose dive. And they feel much more reactive and powerful.

These bolts are well made and installed easily on a 96 impala SS.Make sure you have a short (~1 inch long or less) 19mm socket for the rear bolt as clearance between the bolt and the brake booster is a little tight.Note that brake bleeding is necessary after doing this job, I used about a quart.

If you own a 1996 impala ss then this is a must have. It stops the nose drive when applying brakes.

Years after I did my rear brakes drum to disc conversion, I finally decided to go ahead and install this mod on my 1994 Caprice Wagon. The difference is like night and day. Before I was afraid of my brakes, but now the feeling is so good that is not a concern anymore. Even if I brake hard is not locking anymore like before. Before the mod my brakes used to lock up because only the front tires would do the stopping so in order to make the car slow down I needed to hit the brake pedal all the way down, but now half way with almost no effort and the car stops very smoothly. I should've done this long time ago. I recommend this to any Caprice-Impala SS with rear brake discs. I strongly recommend to bleed the system for this to work correctly. You have to do it when air enters the system anyways and this is not an exception.

Made a huge difference . Pedal is at top position and reduced nose dive is great and better than buying a bigger anchor for the Andria Doria to help stop it. These cars are boats ! Pay no attention to "engineers" psychobabble on various websites, this works great

Even though we verified that it would fit our vehicle, the threads were the wrong size and it stripped off when trying to install. There is no return link on this item that was ordered/fulfilled through Amazon so we now have a $45 paperweight.
