Love the slide cover and that it travel really well without having to worry about batteries falling out. Also the slide makes it look less messy with all the batteries sticking out. Love that it is usb so compatible with ALL of my plugs and solar battery packss. Can also plug directly into a small USB solar panel. Love that it isn't screaming fast charging as that prolongs the life of my rechargeable batteries by A LOT. Love the lights to informing which are charging and wich are fully charged. Love the longevity of this charger, I have four of these now. I bought my first one with AA batteries like this a few years ago and perfomrs great with no problems, using more aaa batteries so just bought another one to dedicate to the aaa batteries..Reliable, just works well. Consistent charging makes the batteries last a LOT longer and always have batteries ready to go. Still on my original enloop batteries. using this charger, some a few years old. Really like this thing, I use use batteries on a lot of stuff.

I feel so much better recharging all those batteries in the house rather than disposing of dozens of used batteries every year. The battery longevity seems a bit shorter than the single-use batteries, but still good enough for typical household use in remote controls, flashlights etc.

This does a great job of stopping discharging when the batteries are empty (unlike some other popular similar products on amazon), and it charges phones quickly with eneloops.

This is a great charger to travel with. I use more AAAs than AAs now and this does both, but came with 4AAAs, just what I needed

Reasons why I bought this:1) USB power output. In an emergency, you can use this as a power bank, to make your rechargeable AAs charge other devices.2) Slower charging time. Batteries charged at a slower rate using this device seem to have longer battery life (i.e more juice) than those charged by a quick charger from Eneloop.3) USB power input. The fact that it uses USB means that it can be more compact than the traditional chargers. It also means that it can draw from DC power sources such as solar panels, power banks etc.

No USB C.Feels fairly cheap.

The product is probably new, but the box itself seems to be sitting somewhere for quite awhile. Will update if performance degrades or anything.
