Q: Will they work on a rack and pinion boot

I used CV Joint Boot clamps on 2001 Saturn SL2 for the steering rack boots with no problems. I just cut off about 1 in to make it shorter and smoothened the cut edge w/ a file. At that time I even didn't know that they are for a different purpose. I also clamped one rack boot on 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier, but that boot has an opening for air breezer, so seems like a bit too wide, but closes everything. Now I found the exact original clamps for steering rack boot, but will put on the second boot still that CV clamp till next time change to have symmetry.

Perfect size for ATV / UTV
