I was a little hesitant at first to try non-HP ink, but I'm glad I gave this a shot. The Smart Ink 902XL cartridges worked perfectly with my OfficeJet Pro 6978. Installation was super easy, and my printer recognized the cartridges without any issues or error messages.Print quality is just as good as the original HP ink. It produces crisp text and clean colors for both documents and photos. I use my printer mostly for work-from-home tasks and the occasional school project for my kids, and this ink holds up well.What really sold me was the price — way more affordable than HP brand ink, and the XL cartridges last a long time. Definitely worth it if you're tired of overpaying for ink.I'll be reordering when it's time to restock!

This is the second time I’ve ordered these cartridges in the first time they worked perfectly on my HP printer. This time my printer said they did not have a chip so would not allow the printer to run so I contacted the company and they gave me an upgrade to install on my computer and now it works perfectly. HP is performing updates on the printer to keep you from using non-HP products but this bypassed that upgrade. Thanks for the support.!

The ink is working fine, prints as least as well as the "subscription service" ink from HP I was trying to get away from. Full story: the initial Smart Ink cartridges I ordered were not recognized by our HP printer and wouldn't work. HP and other big names in the industry change their cartridge codes frequently to try to shut out competition. Smart Ink knows this and responded almost immediately when I reached out for support; I think i heard from them about 2 minutes after I emailed them! They sent new cartridges free of charge that arrived less than a day later. MUCH cheaper, better quality, and better customer service than HP, and there is no pressure to subscribe to anything. Highly reccomend.

We have ordered these cartridges a few times and never had an issue until this last order and the yellow ink just did not want to work. Tried every diagnostic method I knew and finally contacted customer support with Smart ink. Ory was the representative that assisted me in running a couple more diagnostic ideas which unfortunately were also unsuccessful in kickstarting the function of the yellow cartridge. Smart ink offered to send a full replacement set in hopes we won’t have the issue with the next set. I appreciate their customer service tremendously and plan on continuing ordering from them as it’s so much more affordable than directly from the manufacturer!

Cheaper than HP ink and works great! I’ve been using this brand for awhile now and I had one incident that the ink was not compatible with printer. I reached out to Smart customer service and they help me walk through to eliminate the problems. The result was my printer has automatic software installation so the ink would not be compatible bc HP is trying to force us to purchase through them. Smart Representative Ben sent me a new ink package and it’s running now. They recommended me to turn off auto- software installation, which I did.

The color printed beautifully but the black I had trouble but customer support was very fast with helping out and sending a replacement with quickest shipping

I bought a set of these ink cartridges to have a set ready for when I ran out. While several weeks later I ran out and inserted these cartridges. My printer gave an error that it detected non HP ink and the firmware would not allow the printer to print. I contacted customer support and they sent me a link for a work around but it was for window based computer and I have a MAC. I recontacted customer support and they sent me a new set of ink cartridges which arrived the next day. I installed them, and the printer recognized them as non HP cartridges, but since these were newer, the firmware did not prevent it from working. So far printer is printing fine. Customer support was quick and responded back to me within a couple minutes each time I contacted them.
