As a DIYer, I found the swap from my old switch to this one straightforward. This was purchased to replace a switch which broke. The switch was easy to install and is working much better than the one it replaced. Seems to be of sound quality and i am very happy with it.

We did get it installed but it pretty much fills up an old-construction single gang PVC box. It was a challenge getting all the wires & the switch stuffed in. The switch does control the fan & light OK but the sliders feel kind of cheap. Hope they last.

My ceiling fan

I like the price but I didn't like the fact that the light will only work when you have the fan on high position any other position that does not work otherwise it's a functioning dual switch with a dimmer.

Light slider only works on the top quarter of the slide. Below that the light shuts off, Even with an incandescent lamp. Thr fan speed control works as expected. If it wasn't such a pain to remove I would return it.

Easy installation. Works as advertised. Would buy again if needed.

It works

Installation went very smoothly. I installed 2 in about 20 minutes. These replaced other, seemingly identical ones that would not dim LEDs. I can't believe that the electricians that just rewired the house recently didn't use LED compatible dimmers ANYWHERE!Dimming LEDS isn't easy and these dimmers do do their job reasonably well. The dimmable LEDs that we are using are not the best and as such there is a jitter and a bit of a lag when adjusting them. But they do dim and everyone is happy with the outcome. I did not realise that there is a remote control for these. That might be a nice option for some people.

We just installed today. Very straightforward to install. At first there was a slight flicker but ever so slight and went away.

This switch was fairly easy to install.You need to figure out which wire runs the fan and which one runs the light in my case the red wire ran my fan and so i connected to the the brown wire on the new switchAnd the light was black so I connected to the red on the new switch. Once I figured that out I was good to go the switch itself is bulky and it was everything I could do to stuff it in the box with all the wires but I got it to fit and the switch works fine.
