This is a so so product, why I say it like that is because the design is very hard to put in. The cover piece for the intake has screw under it. Almost impossible to get the screws in. As for it working to it potential does a great job with sound and performance.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
Absolute trash, This intake should be good just by reputation. However, this isn’t the case. This intake went in my 2014 328i and let me just say the craftsmanship is shotty at best.. It’s a hard plastic which is fine but you can tell the cast that it was made is had flaws there is excess plastic everywhere, Holes to mount the filter are not pre-drilled and a hassle to line up correctly. The cover to the intake has to go on last but the bolts are underneath and next to impossible to get in. My f30 also has a vacuum line that needs to be mounted in the intake and there is no option for that on this K&N so now I have to go to the parts store to Mickey Mouse something to get that vacuum line in. I would return but the box is gone and it’s already installed. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Buy a mishimoto or Injen instead.
