Nice replacement grille. Color was smooth and it's sturdy. Screwed in fine, size was as stated.

I needed to add some network wires in a home. This was used in the finished basement to cover access holes we cut in the ceiling dry wall. The 16x16 size allows enough room to get your head and arms in the hole to work. Not much, but enough. It also helped cover a less than perfect drywall hole.I ordered 2. One of them was damaged; the fins were bent in a 2 inch area. Though very annoying, I did not have the time to send it back and get a replacement. So I carefully bent the fins back into place. Not exactly perfect, but not noticeable unless you inspect closely.I attribute the bent fin damage to bad product packaging; these are just shrink wrapped in plastic, with a cardboard backer inside the grille, along with the screws in a bag. If cardboard had been used on both sides, no damage would have occurred. Thus, only 4 stars.

Whats to say. Its perfect as a return grill. I would give it 5 stars, if they had provided dimensions for minimum hole size and distance between screws and/or a template. This is more important than you think because the distance between the grate opening and the edge is between top and bottom. That is, its not exactly centered

These arrived quickly and fit our ceiling vents perfectly. The price was much better than that of the local big box store. We replaced all of our vents this spring as we painted throughout the house. I figured out that the number of louvers is consistently the same regardless of size. The 14" grill has 12 louvers. The 12" has 10 louvers. The 10" has 8 louvers, etc. This made it much easier to determine which size I needed for each room without pulling out the ladder to measure each one. Hope this helps.

Did not fit, requested 6x14" and got 8x16". The weird thing is that the label in the package did say 6x14"!!! Seems this happened to a lot of people, will ask for a refund.

It's a grille, it does everything I expect from a grille. It was not warped, it is sturdy, it is low profile, and fit my vent perfectly. Note that the measurement is for the vent itself, not the grille. Also note, this is a wall / ceiling vent, not a baseboard vent. If you buy this to put at your baseboard, it will be too thin and you will be unhappy.

We occasionally replace our return vent covers, and it's always a surprise how much of a visual improvement it makes.

I ordered the wrong thing. It would have worked great as a return grille but that’s not what I was after.
