REEHUT Yoga Blocks,High Density EVA Foam Blocks to Support and Deepen Poses, Improve Strength and Aid Balance and Flexibility - Lightweight, Odor Resistant

Was surprised how comfortable and useful these are. Bought on a whim after watching a Youtube video about some stretches which utllised Yoga Blocks. Thought they'd probably be cheap and nasty and end up consigned to my "White Elephant" cupboard, but as I say - they are really good. Will update if they fall apart, but they seem sturdy and durable too.

I was in need of a set of two new yoga blocks as I had bought two singles (elsewhere) in the past but the sizes were different so it was obviously helpful to get two the exact same size for some of the poses, particularly in yin yoga. I eventually chose these blocks as they were described as 4 inches wide and I thought that useful and sturdier for helping attaining a pose such as half moon.I have added photos to help you make a decision as to whether these are the right blocks for you as I find reviews helpful myself. No, no-one is paying me for my review and I haven't been sent these blocks as a freebie - in fact I was overcharged, but that is another story....just check the price once any Amazon item is listed at checkout & save yourself some grief!Back to the blocks - came well packed together but as you can see from the second & third pictures (inches & metric), they are NOT 4 inches. The exact depth is 9.5cm (3 3/4 inches), height is 15cm (6 inches) and length is 22.5cm (just shy of 9 inches). As you can see by my final photo these particular blocks are definitely larger in depth than my other blocks.They were also delivered very quickly, always a plus. Hope this has helped someone.

I bought these blocks as an aid for my meditation practice. I have been meditating sitting on a chair but wanted to make the move to a cushion on the floor. Unfortunately my 46 year old hip flexor muscles are not as happy about sitting on the floor as i would like them to be stemming from 20 plus years of desk based jobs has made them almost unfit for purpose, but i digress... the blocks themselves are very well made and light weight, so ideal to carry around to a yoga class if desired and therefore, at least for my purposes, do a fantastic job at assisting me in sitting on the floor in a cross legged position with a straight back. Mission accomplished.,they were well priced so no complaints here - if you need yoga blocks at a great price in a range of colours then these will serve you well.

Pros: Good value and bigger than it looks like.Cons:Few tiny holes on one of yoga bricks received, usable still.Not as hard, surface indents when poking with finger.

I had read somewhere that the best quality blocks are Gaiam and the best budget ones are Reehut. I went for Reehut as they are half-price of Gaiam and I don't regret sparing the money. Having tried my friend's Gaiam blocks, I wanted the same dimensions. I noticed the Reehut are a bit softer which makes them more comfortable if you lean the forehead onto them but they equally feel softer when you press onto them for balance. I practice daily at home but I am only level 1-2 and these blocks are helping me just fine. I would make the same choice again.
